If you have an eye for design, head over to Discover for a chance to win $1000 with a new credit card design. Discover has developed a Facebook application that works with the Graffiti application to let you create and submit your own credit card design for the new Discover Student Card.
Discover $1000 Contest
The Contest
In order to enter the contest, all you have to do is sign up on the app with your Facebook account and submit a design before January 1st, 2010. Voting will be open to all of the Facebook application users, and will begin the next day, and will last for a week. Winners will be announced on January 24th, 2010.
All submission will be displayed on the Discover promotional website, and will be open for comment. The 150 designs with the most votes by Facebook users will be submitted to a selection committee, who will choose a First, Second and Third place winner, and three “Honorable Mentions,” according to set criteria, found on the website under “Contest Rules.” Each honorable mention will receive $50, while Third Place will receive $250, and Second Place $500. The Grand Prize winner will receive $1000, and their design will be displayed on the new Student Card by Discover.
